Cathryn Gleeson is the multi-talented daughter of All Hallows Church's wonderful vicar, Father Kevin Bell (who is also musically talented)! Cathryn is an actress as well as a singer / songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. After gaining a degree in Classical Civilisation at Warwick University, she began to pursue acting professionally. She performed in various short films; played Ophelia at The Studio Theatre in Salisbury, studied screen acting at The New York Film Academy before completing a Postgraduate degree in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2015. Cathryn has always been musical. From playing Viola with the Symphony and Chamber orchestras at school, to playing piano (to grade 5) and acoustic guitar (self taught). She has a passion for folk, country and classical music which has profoundly influenced her songwriting. She is currently working on recording her songs to upload on Soundcloud and for her debut EP next year. Cathryn's support spot at the Kindred Spirit concert at All Hallows Church will, excitingly, be her debut performance as a singer / songwriter and instrument player! |
