Kindred Spirit Band have evolved, since Elaine began performing solo early in the 1990s. By the early 2000s they established a five-piece framework featuring Elaine and her original songs with a virtuoso electric lead (violin and / or guitar) player, a classically trained wind (flute and / or sax) lead player, a bass guitarist and a drummer. Over the years, band members have come and gone, leaving excellent musical legacies on various of the many recordings, videos and albums.

The current band’s sound is still evolving. As well as the lead electric guitar they now have, instead of violin, flute & sax player, Stevie, is now bringing electric cello and effects to the band. Elaine also has a new effects pedal board, which will allow her to create a range of fabulous string synth textures and other effects, alongside her natural guitar sound.
