Keith
Best known as bass guitarist with the progressive rock band “The Far Meadow”, Keith Buckman also plays bass with the “Tom Slatter Band” and in 2018 formed “Marshpoem”, an acoustic songwriting collaboration with singer Lorraine Crowther and poet Joanna Harker Shaw. In 2020, he released a lockdown single “Hur$t1966” with Peter Jones (AKA “Tiger Moth Tales”) as “Keith and The Tiger Moth”. Since releasing the album “A Suburban Condition” in 2008 with Angela Ramsay, Keith has played guitar and bass in a number of covers bands, has partnered with the singer songwriter Manuela, and also with former classmate Glenn Hayler in “Semitone Ghosts”, sometimes playing at Elaine’s open mic events.
Buckman
Since The Far Meadow’s first appearance with their current line-up at Resonance in 2014, they have released two albums and played a number of progressive and classic rock festivals, including “A New Day”, “HRH Prog”, “Danfest”, “Summer’s End”, and the “Cambridge Rock Festival”, as well as a number of headline and support shows. With the insight of a writer and arranger, Keith’s playing draws on a wide range of influences across many genres.
