Journey

The Mystic Journey was a collaboration between Elaine Samuels, her Kindred Spirit Band and Celtic harp player and storyteller France Ellul. It was a complete fantasy, mythical story about the spirit of the Green Man. It tells how / why he appeared on earth, what he did, why he retreated into the trees, earth and stone and how we need him to return, to help vitalise the efforts to save the planet from environmental disaster! Originally, it was hoped to tour with this show but it wasn't to be and there was only one staging of it, at Windsor Arts Centre, in 2003. Incredibly, with many technical difficulties and the lateness of the drummer, who broke down on the way up from Sussex and was very late, the band managed to make a live recording of this show, which was produced as a double album!
